Border Patrol Is Back after their week-long hiatus, targeting Southeast Los Angeles and other areas, ripping parents from children, chasing workers and almost killing one, arresting a U.S. citizen, and targeting street vendors again.

From Wednesday to today, Monday, December 1st, ICE and HSI took at least 15 people out of the 25 they stopped and questioned over Thanksgiving Week and weekend.

We're seeing a new strategy taking effect. In the absence of Border Patrol, ICE has stepped up its patrolling, profiling, and stops. This could be due to the news last month that the administration changed out ICE leadership, effectively putting Border Patrol agents in charge of ICE. Today, we saw ICE stopping several vehicles and people on bikes, as well as continuing with their targeted attacks.

Today, Border Patrol targeted Long Beach, swarming the streets again taking gardeners, older men, and a 12-pack of beers. A child fled through a park, and a mother ran with her infant as her husband was taken by agents.

After a father dropped his children off at school, federal agents abducted him nearby leaving his truck on the side of the road. His son and daughter came to pick up the truck. His daughter, cried. His son, a sophomore, picked up his truck, and went to perform his dad's work servicing the houses he was supposed to do today.

Border Patrol continues with their new strategy, effectively raising their numbers by focusing on Latino enclaves instead of spreading around the city. Today, they targeted Van Nuys and Panorama City, Snatching Street Vendors, Pedestrians, and Day Laborers Again. They were all over Van Nuys, Roscoe, Sepulveda, and Parthenia, to name a few bigger boulevards. They also returned to targeting popular grocery chains catering to Latinos.
