[dropcap size=big]Y[/dropcap]ou’ll have lipstick on your collar (and a few other places) this month, Angelinos, when the planets bid farewell to Hef with no fewer than four planetary aspects associated with sex and love. What better way to put September’s drama behind us than a celestial roll in the heavens? Your super-lucky-day, October 26th, sees a Jupiter/Sun pairing sprinkle fortune on all signs. Venus and Mars hook up twice this month – once on the 5th and again on the 17th – promoting love affairs down here on Earth. And two Neptune/Moon meetings (on the 3rd and again on the 30th) fill your heart with love. Look upward, Angels - October skies are beautiful in in this town.

Aries (March 21 – April 20)
Gosh, Ram - your ruling Mars has two scandalous encounters with Venus this month in the zodiac’s red light district. The 5th and the 17th are good nights to make bad choices. Enjoy! Also on the fifth, the Ram might find himself moody -it’s just a full moon in Pisces, it’ll pass. On the 3rd and 30th, Neptune/Moon pairings in Aquarius activate your neglected mystical side. Listen to your gut. Take a risk on the 26th, Jupiter favors gamblers when it aligns with the sun. And don’t be narrow minded on the 8th, an opportunity hides in a bad idea.

Taurus (April 21 – May 21)
October romances the bull this month, gifting Taurus with flowers and celestial mix-tapes. Your ruling Venus has the hots for Mars; these planets with benefits meet twice - first in your house of love on the 5th, and again on the 17th, this time reviving a workplace flirtation. Also on the 5th, you may settle a karmic debt under a full moon in Pisces – take this opportunity; it brings happy relief. An exalted Mercury on the 8th will supercharge your brain. If you need to be smart, that’s the day for it. Value friends on the 3rd and on the 30th - turns out you have a lot of them.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21)
It’s Love and Happiness for the twins, this month, Gemini. If the full moon on the 5th leaves you moody, take some time alone – you avoid that. Fill your home with female friends on the 5th and again on the 17th, celebrating goddess vibes. Feeling creative on the 8th? Drive up Angeles Crest with your camera - your ruling Mercury will make every shot a keeper, and October’s golden light won’t hurt either. A Saturn/Moon conjunction on the 24th will be visible at 5 a.m., bestowing common sense on a day you’ll appreciate it.

Cancer (June 22 – July 22)
Rock steady this October, Cancer, when your ruling moon whips around the zodiac, making you more passionate than usual. Don’t believe everything you think on the 5th, when your ruling moon goes full in flaky Pisces. Speak truth to power on the 8th - you’ll be eloquent and respected. On the 3rd (and again on the 30th) your ruling moon joins Neptune twice in friendly Aquarius, highlighting transformation. Your heart drives your actions, as usual, but two Mercury/Mars conjunctions provoke hard choices; family and income worry you. Seek balance in Libra’s Scales with the sun, and you’ll leave the month centered and whole.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)
It’s sexy time for the kitty this October, Leo. Venus and Mars hook up in your corner of the zodiac on the 5th - they meet again on the 17th - and both encounters will have you purring. Prepare to be seduced (again) on the 3rd and on the 30th, when two Neptune/Moon pairings woo the Lion by appealing to your softer side. Relax for once, and put aside your manic energies. When your ruling sun gets a kiss from lucky Jupiter on the 26th, we’ll hear your happy roar from NoHo to Downey. Leo, you're an animal.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)
Love Affairs are in the air this October for lovely Virgo. Pretend to be seduced on the 17th, when you host one of the Venus/Mars rendezvous (they really should get a room). A full moon on the 5th smashes lust and money together in your income house, creating good ole’ Los Angeles Noir conditions. All you can do in these situations is look good, but then, you always do. Other signs flock around you on the 26th, hoping your good luck wears off on them when Jupiter meets the sun in your sign. Feel vulnerable on the 3rd and 30th - both dates host Neptune/Moon pairings in your marriage house. Don’t worry - you are dearly loved - don’t give way to jealousy.

Libra (September 23 – October 22)
Enjoy romance this birthday season, Libra. When your ruling Venus connects with Mars, twice, the nights might be cooler in L.A. but not at your house;) Don’t be duped on the 3rd and 30th when two Neptune/Moon pairings cause your imagination to run wild. This aspect also heralds the Aquarian age – peace is at hand, and it’s a good day to try new technology. If you play your cards right on the 26th, Jupiter lends its luck to your cause, and things should get easier for the scales.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)
You make me blush this October, Scorpio, when your one-track mind finds satisfaction in the zodiac. Your ruling Mars seduces Venus, twice (or does Venus seduce you?) once on the 5th and again on the 17th. Emotions may run high with the significant other on the 5th. You know what you did – say sorry with flowers. Feel wicked smart on the 8th when your subconscious and conscious minds are fully exalted by Mercury. The 26th brings extra luck to the Scorpion (Although you usually have plenty, how else could you get away with your shenanigans?)

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)
October blesses the archer with luck - it’s a good month for partnerships. On the 8th, Mercury supports your analytical mind with great reasoning skills – have a good brain day and court financial success. Your ruling Jupiter joins the sun on the 26th –benefitting professional goals. Autumn brings karmic opportunity; put down your arrows on the 3rd and 30th, and get out of your head by serving others. The Venus/Mars party is happening – don’t miss out on the love this October 5th and 17th.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 20)
October brings focus on the family for Capricorn, and on the 5th, enjoy domestic harmony for a change. Your ruling Saturn meets the moon in Ophiuchus on the 24th – you’ll feel extra philosophical that day. Two Mars/Venus pairings (on the 5th and 17th) support transformation and travel, so if you’re planning to take that ayahuasca trip, these are both good dates for it. On the 8th, go to the strange places in your mind with an assist from brainy Mercury. Two Neptune/Moon pairings (on the 3rd and 30th) hit you right in your income house. Be careful with money on these dates, but a little charity never hurts your Karma. Put money in the can, Goat - just don’t eat the can.

Aquarius (January 21 – February 19)
The planets have you feeling like a water sign this month, Aquarius – you’re not your easy-breezy self. Don't worry – it’s just a growth spurt – you’re transforming into a higher water-bearer. On the 5th, expect a lot of emotion behind your communication. And when your ruling Uranus joins the moon on the 6th, you may make bad choice with money. Hold off a day or two on any financial decisions, and don’t lend or borrow if you can help it. Luck strikes your transformation house on the 26th, maybe the biggest project of your life benefits from this aspect. Watch for Saturn in your career house on the 24th - are you attaching the wrong vibrations to your workplace?

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)
Get your hippy on this month, Pisces, when the planets come to your emotional rescue, bearing gifts of love. Normally you suppress the strange and unusual, but let your freak flag fly this October – the city needs her mystics. Revel in clear autumn skies on the 8th with an equally clear mind - your days are warm, and the tourists have all gone home. Expect heightened psychic activity on the 5th, with a full moon in Pisces. Your unique talents have bubbled up lately, and it’s time to share them with the city you love. Your ruling Venus romances Mars twice this month - love the one you’re with on the 5th and the 17th.

Ophiuchus (November 29 – December 17)
October brings emotional attachment to material things – you’ll never finish all your chores Ophiuchus, so why not give yourself a break? Put your snake down and go to yoga. Or drive to the desert and book a sound bath at the integratron. A smart move on the 8th will diffuse a volatile situation on the home front, and passion for friends on the 5 and 17th will remind you of your blessings. On the 3rd and 30th, your artistic skills are supercharged. Make art not work. And achieve goals through friendship on the 26th with Jupiter’s luck behind you.
