Preview: “Noche de Calaveras”, the First Show from RISK’s Buckshot Gallery in Santa Monica

L.A. Graffiti pioneer RISK is opening his own art gallery in Santa Monica. Buckshot  Gallery will sit at the intersection of fine art and the streets where Risky made his name. The first show at the gallery, “Noche de Calaveras” opens this Saturday and will exhibit works by Risk, Seen, Tristan Eaton, Saber, Kenny Sharf, AXIS, Sharktoof, and Steven Lippman to name a few of the thirty six artists in this inaugural group show.

We're excited to see what one of the foundational members of L.A.'s graffiti scene can bring to the gallery world, and the first show looks like it will bring together a true cross-section of the city's art community. Please keep reading for preview images of many of the works that will be available on opening night.

“Noche de Calaveras” opens on Saturday, October 17th at Buckshot Gallery, 3129 Pico Blvd., Santa Monica, CA
