At last night's King's game (which they won in thrilling, come from behind fashion), the latest in projectable billboard technology was in full effect outside the Staples Center. Far more interesting and current than a painted or vinyl sign, the projections are likely to take off in coming years as a topical vibrant way to advertise in a huge way. Visual pollution? It certainly has that potential, but when I looked up at a 8 story image of Manny and 2 stories of MANNY'S BACK, I had to smile.
