[dropcap size=big]D[/dropcap]ozens of lowriders and lowrider bicycles cruised Sunset Boulevard along Echo Park on Saturday night on behalf of “Cruise Night.” The event was organized by El Clasico Tattoos and Lost Angelz clothing store. “Last night felt like a taste of old Echo Parque,” posted El Clasico Tattoo on Instagram. The tattoo shop sits on the corner of Echo Park Avenue and Sunset Boulevard and is one of the last-standing institutions that has survived the gentrification of the neighborhood, having opened in 2008. “Don’t be a lame, wear a mask” and “respect the spot” read the flyer posted inviting the local Los Angeles car clubs to partake in the tradition.
