DAILY MEMO: Border Patrol Snatches Multiple People in Salvadoran Corridor Raid, Including a U.S. Citizen

Border Patrol crews raided the Salvadoran corridor, starting down by the 10 freeway and working their way up to the Westlake Home Depot, where Bovino did his infamous Trojan horse stunt with the yellow Penske truck that went viral over the summer. On Monday, Mayor Bass told folks in a town hall that the raids aren’t as bad in L.A. anymore, but the daily reports say otherwise. Today, there were 16 incidents in L.A. alone.

DAILY MEMO: Feds Rip Through Election Day, Taking At Least 25, Including, Elderly, A Toddler, and Her U.S. Citizen Father 

On election day, Feds made sure to have a ridiculous presence, ripping through at least 10 neighbourhoods and taking at least 25 people, including elderly, and arresting a U.S. citizen before driving off with his toddler in the back seat. They also brutalised a day labor center coordinator who is also a U.S. citizen, breaking his wrist, and dropping him off down the street before taking himself to the ER.

UPDATE: Toddler Detained In Chaotic Border Patrol Raid At Home Depot In Cypress Park This Morning

After an agent hit the child in the face with a ball, the youth was driven away from the scene by Border Patrol. The mother and child were reunited in the afternoon.

ICE raids do not stop for World Series wins, at least not while the Dodger's main owner, Mark Walter, has money to be made in ICE detention centers and civilian surveillance technologies for the DHS. While all eyes were on game 7 and the following parade, there were at least 25 raids in the span of 3 days with an increased attention on street vendors including those on Vermont's treasured Salvadoran corridor.

ICE claimed its agents felt threatened and decided to shoot “defensive shots” at his vehicle. The victim drove down to his brother’s home and was taken to the hospital while being followed by Department of Homeland Security agents.

Early in the morning, between 4:00 and 5:00 a.m. Agents descended upon a small community in Oxnard in full tactical force, blocked off the street, were seen tying a minor’s hands with zip ties, and remained in the area up until 9:00 a.m. Agents were seen pepper-spraying protestors, throwing tear gas, and hitting them with batons. One community member protesting today was arrested.
