Watch this space, we'll have our Top Ten Tacos for 2006 up before the end of the year. The list is being prepared by Bandini in a secret location and will be delivered to the LA TACO HQ in an armored Brinks Taco Truck. In the meantime, check out the last 6 months of top ten tacos.

LAist Top Eats of 2006 Includes Tacos
Our pals at the LAist blog have a nice top ten from Eating LA, which includes this nugget: I thought I hit the jackpot at El Parian in February, but a recent trip to the Echo Park Taco Zone truck may have changed my mind. We also like the Zone, not only for its tacos (suadero is the best) but for the friendly ladies who run the truck, and its proximity to taco lifestyle haunts in Echo Park.


FDA: Lettuce Source of e.Coli at Taco Bell

This is important news for two reasons: one, never eat at Taco Bell and two, lettuce and tacos really don't mix.

Bandini Hits Tacos Gavilan
We've hit this spot in the past, but never worked up a review, only a nice shot of the "single golden arch" outside. Bandini gives it the full review treatment, along with a 3.5 taco rating despite a guy leaning against a pole the whole time he was there.
