Before the holidays we were able to catch up with LA street artist Septerhed for a photo shoot at the The Site Unscene studio in Downtown LA. We got a preview of some of his latest work that will hit the streets in 2012. Septerhed spoke to us about a possible solo exhibit at the end of the Mayan calender to display his latest concept: "COMPLETE DESTRUCTION OF GREY SPACE." Also in the works is an extremely limited run on a line of t-shirts. Septerhed is looking to make a big impact on LA in 2012, with bigger works on the streets, new techniques, and more ridiculous design habits. As he put it, "This is not a hobby, this is my life. I am a creative until my very last breath."

DAILY MEMO: Border Patrol Has Left Los Angeles, ICE Carries On Taking Around 25 People This Week

The Harbor Area Peace Patrollers, who for 8 months stood watch every single morning outside of Terminal Island, today confirmed that ICE and CBP have demobilized from the Coast Guard base. While we’ve seen a decrease in activity with Border Patrol gone, around 25 people were still taken between Monday and Friday from Home Depots, cars, courthouses, and mostly targeted attacks.
