Today street artist JR, whose work has been going up all over Los Angeles of late, announces his global project "Inside Out". Using the InsideOutProject.net website, people around the world are encouraged to upload a portrait. They will then be sent a poster which they can put up in their community. From the website:

INSIDE OUT is a large-scale participatory art project that transforms messages of personal identity into pieces of artistic work. Upload a portrait. Receive a poster. Paste it for the world to see.
