New President of the Police Commission Steve Soboroff (pictured above with courtside Clippers seatmate Rihanna) believes that the LAPD should wear tiny cameras on their person while they work to protect and serve. Today's Los Angeles Times reports that Soboroff said, minutes into his first press conference as Commission President that the technology needs to be implemented "soon", going on to explain: "I mean within 18 months, not 18 years."

This groundbreaking technology would record police encounters and help to settle disputes between the LAPD and the public by providing unbiased video evidence. This sort of forward-thinking approach to policing is needed in a city where the police department is still fighting to earn the public's trust after numerous scandals over the past 60 years.

So where does Mr. Steve Soboroff get his tacos? Reached over Twitter, he replies:

Tie. @TacoBell and LaParilla on Wilshire.

Thank you, Steve, and best of luck as Police Commission President.
