Collaborative Papermaking with the Combat Paper Project

FREE - Saturday, June 9 & Sunday, June 10 | 12:00 - 6:00pm

The Combat Paper Project (CPP) unites veteran and non-veteran communities through papermaking workshops and discussions exploring the complex emotions associated with military service. Join Drew Cameron, Co-Director of CPP, to make handmade sheets of paper created from military uniforms and other fibers. Participants are invited to contribute an item of clothing to the communal fibers and share their personal histories with the group.
* If you contribute clothing and would like to pull paper sheets from your own fibers, please be here by 3:00pm each day to allow time for cutting and beating
* Papers will have to dry over several days and participants can come back to pick up their sheets
