BURGERLORDS: The Blog That Became a Restaurant

Our friends at Slow Culture have operated the BURGERLORDS blog for a few years now, bringing you the best in burger-related photos and memes. The family connection to the Oinkster made us wonder if one day the project would be more than a blog. That day has nearly come, as Slow Culture has announced today that BURGERLORDS will become a restaurant that features classic burgers at a classic price point ($5). A vegan burger will be one of the launch items, along with fries and craft bottled sodas.

You can be one of the first to taste at a special preview meal coming up on Sept 17th, check out the full announcement below...

BURGERLORDS FIRST TASTE
Preview: Thursday September 17, 5-9 PM

Want a chance to win free burgers for a year!? A few of us here have been working on opening a restaurant for the past year and we're finally ready to share. Located in the heart of Chinatown’s Central Plaza, Burgerlords is modeled after classic no-gimmick burger institutions and will feature walk up window service along with both covered and uncovered patio seating for 25. The menu will be kept simple and classic: cheeseburgers, burgers, and a homemade vegan burger, with fries as a side and a selection of craft bottled sodas. With a menu staying true to old school fast food joints, burgers will start at just $5.

To celebrate the opening of the restaurant, we are hosting a preview event where you’ll have the first chance to try our burger and/or vegan burger. Every pre-sale ticket will be entered in a raffle to win prizes like free burgers for a year, prints from our archive, and gear from Huf & The Quiet Life. In addition to the food, we'll be exhibiting photos, mood boards, layouts, and other inspirations that led to the development of the concept with tunes provided by Innovative Leisure.

Tickets are $25 and include choice of burger, t-shirt, sticker & raffle ticket. Pre-sale tickets are HIGHLY suggested and can be purchased at burgerlords.com.

To see where Burgerlords was born and bre(a)d check out the burger lords blog.
