Bone Marrow Donor Drive ~ Baldwin Park

This past weekend Peter Cruz and the Techniques Car Club hosted a Bone Marrow Donor Drive in Baldwin Park. With the help of the Baldwin Park Chamber of Commerce, INLA(International Lowrider Alliance) and Christ Extend Hand Church 85 donor registrations were taken for the Marrow program. The guest of honor Peter's godson "Boo is fighting Lukemia right now and is in need of a Marrow donor. I registered for the Donor Program and encourage you to do the same. Go to for more information. There is a great need for Minority donors right now. Help save a life.

LAPD Officer Released on $30,000 Bond Following Arrest For Assault With a Deadly Weapon

A day after the incident the LAPD said in a statement that they were prompted to respond to the 8600 block of Belford Avenue after “a community member generated a radio call of an Assault with a Deadly Weapon.” Police later identified the suspect as “off-duty Officer Richard Podkowski.”
