Tune of the Day: Controller by Channel Tres

Channel Tres of Compton is a music producer fluent in the languages of hip-hop, house, and techno. Originally from Lynwood, Channel Tres doesn't have a big online presence but that is about to change as he's signed to one of the hottest underground labels around, Godmode, previously responsible for bringing you Yaeji (who has a show tonight in Los Angeles) and Shamir.

Godmode says today's 3 song mini EP is "classic Detroit house, reimagined with the surly attitude of West Coast rap."
