Recap: Homegirls ~ Valerie J. Bower

Grab Bag Studio is the newest studio/gallery space in Long Beach. A couple of weekends ago they opened the show "Homegirls", featuring the work of photographer Valerie J. Bower (L.A. TACO feature). Valerie was holding down the space inviting people over to hang out and see the work from her show and pick up a book that she released which is also called "Homegirls". We stopped in to see what's up and take a few photos...

Pedrito "Wrisper" Garcia stopped by the gallery to show his support forValerie. This is a very talented young artist in his on right, that you all should keep up with...

There is a thing called Instagram, do yourself a favor and give Valerie a follow: @valeriejocelyn. Take a look at the photos from opening night on the Grab Bag Studio site by clicking the link here.
