LAPD Cruisers to get Digital Video
Now that the citizenry have shown they can use digital video to capture wrong-doing, the police are going to get their own dash-mounted video cams. The question will be how much access the public has to what the cams capture. The city council has authorized more then $5m for the cameras, which will be installed next week in select patrol vehicles. The city hopes to have all cars wired up in the next 3 years.

LA Housing Least Affordable
The Daily News reports that: "The Los Angeles area remained the nation's least affordable for house hunters in the third quarter, according to a survey released Monday, while another showed luxury home values making modest gains to record levels in three of the state's major markets. This is the eighth consecutive quarter that Los Angeles remained the hardest place to buy a house."
