Ricky’s Fish Taco Truck is Finally Here ~ Silver Lake

DSCF1184

We've been hearing rumors for months, but the day has finally arrived-- the great Ricky Pina of the eponymous Ricky's Fish Tacos finally has his own taco truck. The truck is decked out in sleek silver, with crisp black accents, and Ricky told us the inspiration for the color scheme is the classic low riders of Los Angeles. Chrome rims may be coming in the future to complete the look, along with colorful vinyl accents. Inside, fish and shrimp were frying and the taste was identical to the iconic tacos served at this same spot, 1400 N. Virgil Avenue, for the past few years. The current location is temporary, but it does boast a covered dining area, so no matter what the weather, the truck will be in business. The new mobility means Ricky will be able to easily pop-up at various locations around Los Angeles, so make sure to follow @RickysFishTacos to see where he'll be before you head out to taste some of L.A.'s finest tacos.
