Walton Goggins is the mad genius actor behind the character Shane Vendrell on TV's The Shield, which airs its last episode Tuesday on FX. The show focuses on dirty cops in the city's Rampart division (obviously a pure fiction) and regularly shoots in MacArthur Park and other iconic LA nabes. It turns out that The Shield's crew are expert practicioners of Taco Lifestyle. Here's what Goggins had to say in a telephone interview for Zap2it:

"A lot of people made a habit of getting tacos wherever we were filming and comparing them to the tacos we ate the day before. There was a taco joint, it was season three, right down off of Rampart, south of Rampart. It was awesome, was so good. Then there's some right off Sunset that are wonderful. I forget the names of them now. There was a running card with names way back when, but it's long since vanished."
