The Echo Park collective known as The Most Best make catchy electronic pop that can be either chill, or danceable and are winning new fans in LA and worldwide thanks to the single "Gold" (stream below). The band plays TONIGHT at Lot 1 in Echo Park, and on March 10th at Harvard and Stone. They also really know their tacos, as we found out below...

BritneyHouston (producer) on his favorite tacos in LA:

"okay first of all what's up with people saying San Diego's where it's at? California-style burrito...come on don't you want your Mexican food mexican style?

my first job in LA was in Los Feliz right across the street from Yuca's where Abuelita made sure I was well-fed and inquired about my love life on the regular. There's something very special about a cheeseburger whose patty and buns have been grilled on the same surface as machaca and cochinitas...

In Echo Park...Taco Zone is head and shoulders above Arizas, anyone who says otherwise is sadly mistaken. Guisado's however, is like The Mountain from Game of Thrones, just the heavyweight champion of the hand made tortilla and marinated meats hell they even have enough meatless options to keep our vegetarian bassist Liam McCormmack (from yellowbirddd) coming back - we also like to celebrate with flaming margarita's at the El Compadre by The Short Stop

We work in Culver City at Exposition Studios quite often, Leo's on Venice at La Brea is a staple - in Downtown we hit up La Reyña every time we're in the Arts District late (just kidding we'll go out of our way to visit it too) - Omar hasn't been there in a while but no one can slice a spit of Al Pastor quite like he can

When we're East of the river, there's nothing quite like the cochinita pibil from El Faisan y El Venado in Highland Park...if there's not enough time then a breakfast taco from Schodorf's on York Blvd does the job just fine."

For a show named after loving the city, let's hope season two can actually love the city a little more for who and what it is, not for just what it appears to be on cellphones.
