Germs “La Luz de Germs” at the Vincent Price Museum of Art ~ East Los Angeles

The VPAM at East LA College opens a trip of shows on Saturday night, including one from LA TACO favorite Jaime Zacarias, AKA GERMS.

GERMS is featured in the HOY SPACE, a gallery that presents contemporary artists whose practice extends across media and who address current and active topics in their work. GERMS is recognized in Los Angeles as a graffiti-inspired artist who channels the spirit of his surrealist predecessors by using grotesque iconography and amoeba-like forms; his work also makes reference Chicano culture and pop imagery. La Luz de Germs is a new site-specific installation in the HOY SPACE.
