We Need to Do Something About Eric Andre

eric_andre_tacos2

Eric André is one of the funniest people on television and regularly delights us with his absurd, sometimes straight up insane comedy. His talk show is the last talk show that ever needs to be created as he pretty much demolishes the entire genre. Literally.

Eric Andre grew up in Florida and went to college in Boston, but he's lived in Los Angeles for some time now. Media sources say he likes to hang out in Silver Lake and Echo Park. So we thought it would be cool to find out where he gets his tacos, as so many famous celebrities have done before him. Danny Trejo got so inspired by our questions that he eventually decided to open his own taco shop. Eric Garcetti listed not one but five favorites, for different styles of taco. Benicio Del Toro really considered the question for a solid minute of awkward silence, but eventually decided on a local restaurant.

The point being that given Eric Andre's pedigree as a performer and his comedic genius, one would expect that he'd have great taste in tacos. Alas, when reached on Twitter he told us his favorite taco was Taco Bell.

We know some of the Eric Andre's friends and coworkers read this site, so we ask you to please buy Eric André a great taco. How about Ricky's Fish Taco, very convenient location for someone who lives in Silver Lake. Or perhaps Cactus Taqueria after a late show taping in Hollywood? Or a trip to Boyle Heights on the weekend for some Mariscos Jalisco?

Today on twitter, Eric André was looking for new national holiday suggestions, and we've got a great one: Buy Eric Andre an Authentic Taco day!
