Story of the Day:
Teen Gets Dissed at Party, Runs down 6 in Boyle Heights Alley
No one was killed, but at least three people were hospitalized with serious injuries, said Los Angeles Police Officer Mike Lopez. He said the suspect, Kirk Whitney, went to a party in the 300 block of North Fickett Street seeking his girlfriend about 12:35 a.m. Whitney, who was not invited to the party, brandished a knife when he was asked to leave, police said.
