Artists and Veterans Team Up to Protest MOCA ~ Los Angeles

Following the whitewashing of an anti-war mural commissioned by MOCA, a group consisting of artists, veterans, and anti-war activists gathered outside the museum to let the public and the museum staff, in particular director Jeffrey Dietch, feel their disapproval. The above video collects interviews of various protesters at the event and their feelings on censorship, public art, and the pusillanimity of the art establishment. The group used a homemade "laser graffiti gun" to spray their (temporary) message on the wall where BLU's mural briefly existed.
