Tortas+Art+Music+Craft Beer: MAN ONE Mural Unveiling at La Chuperia ~ Lincoln Heights

CHUPERIAFLYR

What if I told you there's an old school spot on the Eastside combining my four loves---tortas, street art, music and craft beer all in one place? Would you believe me? You should.

The Torta Spot in Lincoln Heights is flipping the script by continuing it's tradition of serving up some of the tastiest tortas in the city (since 1990) and supporting dope local art. What's new? Well, they are now offering an inspired selection of craft brews through it's newest incarnation: La Chuperia (Spanish for "the drinking place" or "a place to get your sip on").

The coolest part is the unveiling of a new mural at the spot by street art legend, MAN ONE on Thursday, March 5, 2015. He'll also be signing prints. The shin dig will go from 8pm-12am. 21 and over, please. AC the PD will be spinning some real deal hip hop all night. Come ready to get your eat, dance and sip on! See you there!

Salud!!!!

More Than 70 People Reported Feeling Ill After Eating Oysters At L.A. Times ‘101 Restaurants’ Food Event

Ragusano is disappointed that the L.A. Times didn’t publicly disclose that there was an outbreak at their event. “Obviously they’re not going to print it in their paper,” Ragusano said. “But they‘re a newspaper and newspapers are supposed to share the news. This is how people usually find out about something like this,” she added. “It's ironic because it happened to them.”
