Through the Mic 2: Medusa, Dumbfoundead, Grizzle ~ Tonight at LACMA

For the second installment of Through the Mic, underground hip hop legend Medusa, Dumbfoundead, and Gizzle form a diverse night of music, hosted by co-curator MURS.

In the world of underground of hip hop, Medusa has been called the High Priestess, Godmother, Queen, and Gangsta Goddess. She's earned all those titles with her soulful sound, putting her at the top of female-rapper lists and a two-time LA Weekly hip-hop artist of the year winner.

Dumbfoundead's rise to prominence includes collaborations with Project Blowed, Thirsty Fish, Swim Team, and several solo releases, making him one of L.A.'s hottest freestylers.

Gizzle aka Lady G (da Real Deal) opens the show as she gets ready to drop the follow-up to her mixtape While You Were Sleeping.
