Songs to Cruise to: Finding Novyon – “Put In Work”

Finding Novyon has had one hell of a year. Since opening up for Big Sean at Red Bull Sound Select last winter, Novyon has been performing nonstop, as well as recording nonstop (Listen to Super Saiyan EP ). He and his close friends, including Allan Kingdom, Bobby Raps, and DJ Tiiiiiiiiiip, have really put Minneapolis on the map, and are proving to be a greater force to be reckoned with.

During one of Novyon's visits to LA, I had to link him up with my homies, Blended Babies, whose production credits cover the likes of Anderson Paak, Asher Roth, Kid Cudi, Chance the Rapper...and now, Novyon.

As I expected, the team's chemistry was on point, and the result is a delightful head-nodding jam, perfect for the road. The production is simple, yet refined, and Novyon rides this beat so tastefully. Keep these good folks on your radar.
