Saber’s #OccupyWallSt American Flag ~ Photos by Jon Lake

LA's Saber has been at the forefront of artistic political activism in 2011, bombing the sky for #ArtisNotaCrime, smashing the Fox News twitter timeline, and now creating the ultimate in usable art agitation, a giant American flag that can be broken up into individual protest signs. Check out more of the behind the scenes and see the "making of" video on Saber's website.

One thread that ties this latest piece of art to Saber's past is the fake "controversy" Fox News drummed up against SABER a couple of years ago because of his American Flag series (print seen below). FOX tried to say that SABER was disrespecting America by "painting on the flag". There's no doubt the people over at Fox aren't fans of the new flag either. You can visit it in person by checking out Occupy LA down at City Hall.
