Raw Power Moves/Cannibal Flower ~ Venice Contemporary ~ Mar Vista

Venice Contemporary ~ 12222 Venice Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90066

Regular art happenings take place at the Venice Contemporary, this past Saturday hosting the portable monthly show Cannibal Flower that showcases local talent in multiple mediums, using that space as well as the adjacent Venice Grind. This Saturday's show was enjoyed by art fanatics, street heroes, Dogtown skateboard designers, fine artists, and party animals, along with a performance by the Population Game and live painting by the skilled, creative 254p Crew (2 Fight 4 Power).

Welcome 'home' Jude!

As much as I dig watching giant sweaty guys work a can, SESOH's beauty is as mezmerizing as her considerable and varied talent, transfixing our eyes while she did her thing so colorfully and so dope!

I don't really see Population Game waving a red snapper in the direction of any groupies or snorting a line of ants with Nikki Sixx, but looks can be deceiving.

Patrick Hammerlein's great work is not done justice by this crappy photo.
