Now Open: ‘Nothing Cheezy’ at Think Tank Gallery, L.A.’s First Interactive Art Exhibit All About Pizza

Last week, Think Tank Gallery, in conjunction with Pizzaboyzzz and Bloody Gums Collective presented their latest installation titled Nothing Cheezy to select members of the media, in anticipation of the opening this Saturday, July 20th. During the 3-hour preview, attendees experienced pizza-centric art ranging from furry cheese-colored walls to a pizza box Little Tokyo, with a cold PBR in one hand and the all-too-necessary selfie device in the other.

The “self-aware selfie tour” takes selfie culture and tips it on its head, giving visitors the opportunity to be photographed with pizza monsters, a pizza party gone wrong, and a looming 30-foot Godzilla—a welcome change from perfectly lit, immaculate pastel-colored rooms. Guests wandered through installations from Cheap Slasher FilmsNina Palomba, Butch Von Dreaux, TOFU, Abars, Berk Visual, Isa Beniston (Gentle Thrills), Baker’s Son, Anta52, Balloonski, Deladeso, Utopia US, and Meow Wolf artist Future Fantasy Delight, and just when the pizza cravings were becoming unbearable, they stepped through Pizza Heaven by Balloonski to find delicious slices and more beer awaiting them.

The show will run until August 25. For tickets and more information on this pizza show, check out the show's website.
