Double R

Often called one of the oldest members of his generation, Richard Rushfield is the consummate outsider's insider, or insider's outsider, or... well, whatever he is, he's funny which counts for a lot in the newspaper biz, where humor goes to die. Co-founder of LA Innuendo, a major inspiration for the publication you're reading right now, author of On Spec, the double R currently serves as a senior editor at the Times in charge of non-boring stuff.

So Ricardo, what's your favorite taco?

I favor La Isla Bonita-- it's a truck which parks on Rose Ave in Venice. I'm a carnitas man, carnitas tacos from a truck with some cerviche on the side is one of the Westside's last remaining triumphs.
