TACO recently ran into our dear friend, beautiful Crenshaw Queen Luenell. In addition to looking adorable, as always, with her equally precious daughter and personalized gold pimp cup by her side, she got us super-stoked with her latest news. We will be seeing a lot more of our girl after her co-starring turn in the upcoming Borat film which we’re sure we’ll be pissing ourselves over soon.

Luenell tells us Ali G is mad cool in person, so hopefully we’ll get DVD outtakes someday showing us what it was like when these two rib-crackers went to Romania together, which Lue says makes the dodgiest parts of her native South Central look damn luxurious. “The food is unedible over there,” she says, and Luenell knows her eats.

“I’ve practically got my own booth at Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles, but after this movie comes out, I just might have my own table at the Ivy,” The blond beauty says with a hearty laugh that spreads through our circle.

Is This Westside Shop the Future of Neighborhood Markets?

Inspired by Los Angeles's diverse food cultures, the Mar Vista corner market offers a wide variety of multicultural snacks, pantry staples, and prepared food, in addition to an impressive breakfast and deli menu by Chef David Kuo.

We Tried Five Hand Roll Bars in Los Angeles. This One Was the Best.

The simple hand roll is decidedly egalitarian and its etiquette straightforward. Now that Los Angeles has become an unofficial hand roll capital outside of Japan, we decided to try five popular concepts across the city and rank them accordingly. Here’s what we found.
