L.A. Crew HIT + RUN takes MAGIC Clothing Expo by Storm ~ Las Vegas

455ER CCC LATACO H+R

I was asked by the owners of Los Angeles' own H+R Crew to hop to the Magic Show in Las Vegas and be ready for anything. I've been to many of these clothing shows over the year, from my last job requiring me to shop for the up-and-coming trends for a hip-hop store on Melrose, so I was expecting the typical: girls passing out flyers, dudes wearing trendy clothing pretending that they're clothing company is the next best thing since slice bread, bad egos, bad logos, etc., etc.... Anyways, day 1 as soon as I get my pass H+ R guru Brandy Flower hits me up and tells me to do a *live* sticker combination for the booth. I was stoked and ready to let everyone know that sticker art is here and I'm going to make sure they not only see me do it, but feel it too!

After doing this huge sticker combo, I was asked to help out with the booth by drying a few prints and while drying prints the beer was being passed like water at a 50k run...

beer!

This convention was HUGE and almost every clothing co. you can think of was there to display their stuff, what amazed me the most, was 80% of the clothing owners that had booths at this show were acually waiting in line to get a custom print from the H+R crew. Some of the prints were designed by Retina, MAD STEEZ ,SLICK DTK, FRESH JIVE, CROOKS & CASTLES, F. FAMILY,IN4MATION,OBEY plus more. Every print was a one off and was never going to be printed ever again, so the line to get a print was almost around their huge booth.

A few hours into this convention I was told a couple members of H+R were going to spin for the whole convention, which made me even more proud to be from L.A.

This fan loved the stickers and was very impressed w/ the vibe of H+R ...

455ER Vs Danny Boy

Heads like Danny Boy (House of Pain) even stopped by the booth to pay his respects to the H+R crew...

This event was truly one of the coolest conventions I've ever been to. There is no doubt in my mind that the H+R crew is not only here to stay, but have huge plans to change the world of art and fashion! Thanks for letting L.A. TACO come abroad this great event and we look forward again to your next event in San Diego Sep 9 ASR show! Brandy and Mike C keep up the great work and props!
