[dropcap size=big]D[/dropcap]espite numerous pleas and warnings from the Staples Center advising fans of Kobe Bryant to enjoy his televised memorial service “from the comfort of their own home” if they were not one of the 20,000 who purchased tickets, thousands of Kobe fans still took to Figueroa and Olympic to receive one last moment of closure on his untimely death.
