This weekend is the free 9th annual Eagle Rock Music Festival, a street festival spanning 6 blocks of Colorado Boulevard in Eagle Rock, from 5pm-midnight. 2 main stages and more than 11 showcases of diverse music- mostly local and independent bands. See a full line up of the 40 bands on myspace.com. A lot of heart and tremendous energy has gone into creating this festival for the community. Top Los Angeles taco truck La Estrella will be there!

THE EAGLE ROCK MUSIC FESTIVAL IS A FREE, ALL AGES, ALL GENRES FESTIVAL THAT TAKES OVER THE STREETS OF EAGLE ROCK, OCTOBER 6, 5PM-MIDNIGHT. Global, jazz, emerging rock, eclectic pop, underground hip hop, latin, funk, punk, rock, dub, soul, americana, reggae, dance, zydeco, some experimental torch songs too...
