Think Tank Gallery's newest exhibit "Chilled Air" was held on Go Skate Boarding day and celebrated the art of skateboarding. The night was packed with live entertainment, skate demonstrations, and art that excited the large crowd. The show was curated by Austin England & Luke Pelletier who had the genius idea to build a mini skate park in the middle of the gallery. Each ramp was animated with some sort of painting or monitor attached. Everywhere you turned there was something you wanted to see, creating a neverending panoply of action and design. L.A. Taco's Desilu stopped by and presents this gallery of photos from the opening.
The exhibit will be open for a few weeks and they're having weekly skate contests so make sure you stop in to catch some of the chilled air. Artists on the bill were Michael Hsiung, Jeffery Kubasak, Philip Morgan, Luke Pelletier, Austin England, Teddy Kelly, Michael Sieben, Yarrow Slaps, Miles Jackson, John F. Malta, Ben Jensen, Sheryo, The Yok, Dillon Froelich, Timothy Olson, Bryan Peterson, Nathan Brown, Russ Pope, Kristen M Liu, Brian Smith, Egan Franks, Scott Teplin, Sophie Roach, Ashley Niven, Ally Atchison, Christian Stearry, Clint Peterson, Eric McHenry, and Ryan Ady Putra.
