Photos ~ Black Books Sessions Celebrates Ten Years in Long Beach

[dropcap size=big]N[/dropcap]on-profit Black Book Sessions  made a stop Aug. 25 at Admiral Kidd Park in Long Beach to celebrate its 10 year anniversary connecting the Southern California youth to literature, culture, and art. Black Book Sessions Dedicated to promoting a positive educational forum through live art demonstrations, hands-on workshops, Q & As with industry leaders, and art contests.

L.A. Taco was on hand to capture scenes from the creative event.

Pictured here are entries from the art contest for ages 18-23 years old.

Contributions pictured here are from contestants aged 9-13 years old.

Attendees were able to make their own stencil art pieces.
