The L.A. Taco Horoscope For February 2018

Mercury. Image via NASA.

February is all about the workplace – side hustles become main events, ambition is rewarded, and money is in air. Have a big idea? This is the month to launch it, Angels. Valentine’s Day is especially lucky — when Mercury aligns with the Sun in Capricorn creative energy surges. Status is highlighted in the zodiac this month, especially on the 17th when Mercury aligns with the Earth and Sun for the cosmic trifecta. To maximize the benefits to your brand, use social media strategically. Money is in the air this February. Go get some.

Aries (March 21 – April 20)
The Ram is rich in friends this month, including those with benefits, so prepare for a spicy Valentine’s Day. Strong feelings and hot tempers flare on the 8th when your ruling planet Mars joins the Moon in Scorpio’s house of pleasure. The seduction continues when Mars aligns with Antares – red heart of the Scorpion – on the 10th, increasing your mojo in time for V-Day. On the big day itself, a Mercury/Sun alignment lands squares in your relationship quadrant – make sensible relationship choices, if you can control yourself. Passions distract the Ram, but that’s why we like you.

Taurus (April 21 – May 21)
Hardworking Bull, this is your month. Your diligent nature is supported this February by a Jupiter/Moon alignment in your professional house - expect justice in workplace relationships on the 7th. You deserve the rewards coming your way. On the 15th, a New Moon (1 p.m.) in Capricorn suggests you step back from a project, get serious and remain unemotional. The same day sees a partial eclipse of the sun so you may feel a lack of energy. But by the 17th, a Mercury position in Capricorn restores your ambition. You are status oriented this month, and your Instagram will validate the Bull.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21)
Is there something you want to tell us, Gemini? The twins see big-time transformation this month, beginning on the 8th when Mars aligns with the Moon in Scorpio, firing up that charming mind of yours. I suggest aggressive Karaoke to blow off some steam, so go cry hot Morrissey tears. On Valentine’s Day your ruling Mercury makes out with the Sun in Capricorn - you will feel a surge in creative impulses. What is that energy behind your ideas? If you apply it strategically on the 17th, you can make some money with that fire. Remain ambitious this month, and the planets will stay in your corner. The zodiac loves its twins.

Cancer (June 22 – July 22)
Good news, Cancer — you can turn off the waterworks and put that tissue away; February brings an emotional reprieve to the crab. The month kicks off with a Jupiter/Moon alignment in your professional house. Expect justice in relationships — finally! On the 11th, Saturn and the Moon connect material objects with nostalgia. You might find yourself looking at old photos, or digging out grandma’s ring. And on the 15th, a new Moon in your house of transformation brings massive opportunity to get serious and enjoy the anti-emotional vibes. You will see the path you need to take. The same day brings a partial eclipse of the Sun. Power up, my lovely.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)
Get ready for some snuggles, Leo. Home and family feel February’s love at the beginning of the month. When Jupiter joins the Moon on the 7th expect warm vibes. Your purr might become a growl on the 15th when the Sun, your ruling planet, suffers a partial eclipse. It will pass, and anyway it’s good to feel serious now and again. The Sun moves into Aquarius on the 16th - expect strengthened partnerships; this cosmic gift means friendship for all Leos. And on the 17th feel status –oriented when Mercury align with the earth, supercharging your kitty ambition. This month, you chase the dog.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)
The Virgin sees appreciation in the workplace this month. Your organizational skills are rewarded on the 15th when the new Moon sends money to your professional house. Have an idea on the back burner? Start something new and get noticed. Your ruling Mercury continues to favor ambition on the 17th, further boosting your status. Increase the potency of this planetary condition with strategic posts on social media. February sees the sun moving into Aquarius, and Virgos benefit from the loving celestial energy. The month of money ends with love. How’s that for a Valentine?

Libra (September 23 – October 22)
Scales love justice, and you’ll get some this month, Libra. On the 7th lucky Jupiter pairs with the Moon in your workplace quadrant. Have an issue with a coworker? Be generous and you’ll be pleased with the outcome. Money matters are critical mid-month, and Mars makes this point on the 8th, bringing up strong feelings and hot tempers. (It’ll be ok.) On the 15th a New Moon in Capricorn and partial Solar Eclipse have you seriously think about Money. Is there an opportunity you have brushed off? Re-consider. Your enterprising nature will thank you.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)
The Scorpion will be more self-confident than usual this month — and that’s saying a lot; after all, you are not the bashful type. Your ruling Mars aligns with the Moon in your sign on the 8th, so expect to be more fired up than usual. Mars hangs out in your sign for a few days, finally joining your heart-center (the red star Antares) on the 10th, increasing romantic passions. You are always a successful lover, but this is nuts; basically you win Valentine’s Day. But don’t get a swollen ego about it — sometimes the player gets played. And when the New Moon on the 15th hits your Love quadrant, a certain someone may sting the Scorpion.

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)
The month begins with a focus on friendship, Archer, when your ruling planet Jupiter has a play date with the moon (February 7th). Workplace stress got you down? You will be treated fairly and sleep a little better on the same day. Your thoughts will get heavy on the 11th when Saturn aligns with the Moon in your Philosophy zone. Who are your really, Archer? Expect to face that question. After all that soul searching the rest of the month concerns money – and it brings good news. On the 15th and the 17th effort and ambition are rewarded. This city is full of winners. Go be one.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 20)
The goat succeeds in the workplace this February, Capricorn, and all the good stuff happens in your sign. On the 11th your ruling Saturn aligns with the Moon in your Karma house – expect some soul searching. The inner work continues on Valentine’s Day when Mercury joins the Moon in your sign. Expect a creativity boost, and with sensible ambition you can monetize those bright ideas. More activity in your corner of the zodiac sees a New Moon in Capricorn, supporting your serious nature. And when Mercury pays you a visit on the 17th your ambition increases even more. The month ends with an emotional detox on the 20th, which is only natural; all that work you did this month was hard. Take a night off and spoil yourself.

Aquarius (January 21 – February 19)
The sun moves into your sign this month, Aquarius, activating your spiritual energy. You’ll feel a lovely karmic buzz on the 15th when a partial Solar Eclipse coincides with a New Moon – this may be the best day of the year to start something new. That artsy-fartsy idea you’ve been kicking around? Launch it. Celebrate good friendship and good vibes on the 16th when Aquarius welcomes the Sun – it’s not just good for you; the whole zodiac feels the love. The month ends when your ruling planet Uranus aligns with the Moon, opening up blocked emotions. Let them go; you won’t need them in March.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)
February is a big month for the fish. When lucky Jupiter kisses the Moon in your house of transformation (February 16th) your intuitive spirit will feel a double dose of cosmic wow. Go with it- things can’t get too mystical for us Pisces (best sign ever). V-day brings extra creative energy. Also it’s a good day to make some money. Why not monetize your hobbies? Mercury fires up your community chest that day - you will have the attention of others so strut your stuff. This only risk this month is to limit yourself. Be true to your sensitive soul and the planets will reward you. The zodiac loves its freaky fish – but you already knew that.

Ophiuchus (November 29 – December 17)
The snake-bearer gets a fair shake this month, Ophiuchus. Good karma is rewarded on the 7th, when Jupiter aligns with the Moon in Libra’s scales. Expect generosity from those who may have underestimated you in the past. Tempers fly on the 8th but try to keep your cool – it’s only Mars being a troublemaker. On Valentine’s Day, you’ll be the voice of reason concerning a family issue. Others will notice, and share their appreciation. And the New Moon on the 15th is a great day to rest and plan your next move. 2018 rewards ambition, but first know what you want.
