9:14 AM PDT on October 16, 2012

Photographer Matt Whitmire has a new project-- documenting the wildlife of Griffith Park, the nation's largest urban park. His finds include owls, hawks, foxes, deer and more. Mountain lion scat has been sighted but so far "P22" remains elusive. Check out the Tumblr which is being regularly updated with pictures of the beautiful fauna that calls L.A. home.
