As Issued will host the official signing event for Cryptik’s new book “Eastern Philosophy” Saturday October 13th 12pm to 4pm. The enigmatic artist behind the Cryptik movement will be on hand to meet and sign copies for the public. Hit + Run will be on site to do live screen-printing as guest DJ’s perform. The public is welcomed to bring their purchased copy or copies of the book will be available for sale during the event ($37.50).
Published by Zero+ Publishing the book focuses on CRYPTIK’s street art and features many of his iconic images including Buddha, the Buddha Palm, Ganesha, and Gandhi. Images from many different photographers/artists are included, as they have captured his work in unique situations. The book documents a powerful body of work in both color and black/white plates… and it generates more questions than answers.
