After being run roughshod over by LA Galaxy management and the man they claimed would change the team and the league, the fanaticos have had enough. They booed, jeered, and taunted Beckham every time he touched the ball, provoking the half-time confrontation you see above. Even Ronaldinho jogged over to see what all the fuss was about.

With his wife and close friend Tom Cruise in attendance, Beckham played a solid match, but the bitter taste of his European defection and mediocre play lingers. The next match, an exhibition, is against FC Barcelona at the Rose Bowl (site of the 1994 World Cup final) in front of close to 100,000 fans. Will Beckham keep his cool? We'll find out on August 1.
