13th Annual Topanga Film Festival ~ Feb 10th – 12th

3:34 PM PST on February 7, 2017

The 13th annual Topanga Film Festival will be held February 10-12, 2017 at the Topanga Film Institute & Colab, 1111 N. Topanga Canyon Blvd, Topanga, CA 90290. Tickets are now available through the fest's website www.topangafilminstitute.org.

This year the organizers plan to pair classic cinema with explorations on immersive storytelling, including virtual reality. Some of the best VR installations in the world will be available for attendees to check out, along with panels on VR filmmaking. International short films are a huge part of the festival, with the organizers comment that "We feel this form demonstrates the power of narrative because if you can transport an audience in a matter of minutes… well, THAT is good storytelling..."
