Win Tickets to Photek live in Hollywood

KU-PALM-Front-Cover

Photek was one of the best Drum and Bass producers of the 90's. He seemed to kind of check out for a while, then returned to dancefloors a couple of years ago with new sounds and new energy. Anyone who caught his set at Low End Theory a couple of years ago knows the man brings the mind-blowing beats every time he's on stage. This weekend, Photek kicks off a 7 stop European Tour with appearances in Hollywood and Detroit on either side. Want to go to the Hollywood show? Win two tickets to see Photek on Friday February 15th in Los Angeles at the King King. To enter, send an email to contests@theconfluencegroup.com by 5p.m. PST on February 13th with "LA Taco and Photek" in the subject line. The winner will be chosen on February 13th. Keep reading for info on Photek's new album and an mp3 download.

PHOTEK’s return to dancefloor destroying came in 2011 with the Avalanche EP - his first club-ready release of the decade. Shortly after, he released a much-hyped DJ-Kicks release for !K7 and pushed into the diverse and powerful production of a new album, KU:Palm.

“As the album started to take shape it felt like it was sitting halfway between Modus Operandi and Solaris – which I felt was a good place to be. Now it’s finished, it might well be my favourite album to date.”

In Celebration of the release, Photek will embark on a 7 stop European Tour with appearances in Hollywood and Detroit on either side . See Dates Below.
