About the Musicians:
Jesse Tobias, was born in Austin, TX and has played guitar since the age of 3 (He thinks...). He first gained notoriety after landing the coveted guitar slot for the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1993. Before joining the Chili Peppers, he played and wrote songs with Alanis Morissette. While touring the world with Morissette from 1993-1996, he met Angie Hart of Frente, who opened for Morissette. The two formed their own band, Splendid, which released an album in 1999. The album's release was well received in Hart's native Australia; and the band's American exposure was launched in association with Joss Whendon's Buffy the Vampire Slayer, including on-camera appearances. Tobias coproduced and arranged "Once More, with Feeling", the musical episode from the series' sixth season. He was honored with an Emmy nomination for that creative endeavor. In 2004 Tobias began his work with Morrissey. In 2006 Tobias penned fivesongs for and played on Morrissey's eighth album Ringleader of the Tormentors. Four of which entered England's top ten popchart. Extensive touring followed in support of the chart-topping release. In 2009, Tobias played lead guitar on Morrissey's Years of Refusal tour and contributed 3 compositions to the album and has written and played on a number of B Sides as well.Tobias continues his work with Morrissey today and resides in Los Feliz CA.

Manny Felix Nieto has been keeping the pulse of LA's underground music scene since 1997. Working exclusively under the moniker "Frances Miranda," Manny has had the privilege to work with the most fucked up sounding bands in Los Angeles and beyond. Manny started his foray in music as the guitar player and lead singer of pioneering noise band, Distortion Felix. Manny's unconventional, but intuitive and completely original, mic placement techniques are creating unique signature tones, which have become a staple on the most exciting emerging underground records. After 10 years of developing his craft in LA's eastside, 2007 saw Manny take his passion and knowledge of recording to the next level with the opening of his new studio-Nieto Estudio. Only the good, the bad ass, and the ugly record here.-WorldsEnd.com

Street Vendors Successfully Sue City to Remove Illegal ‘No Vending’ Signs And Won

L.A. will also have to reimburse the street vendors for their past fines relating to this controversial sign. However, this does not include any other fines related to equipment restrictions or lack of permits. This also means that while a vendor can’t be cited for vending in areas like the Hollywood Walk of Fame anymore, they can still get cited for other city regulations.
