Jonathan Gold has won the Pulitzer, and all of us at LA TACO would like to congratulate him. Mr. Gold's influence on taco writers and food eaters in Los Angeles cannot be overstated. He is the maestro, we bow to his knowledge and writing skills, and his pimped-out Goldmobile-- a converted AMC Pacer, equipped with special scent-detectors which allow him to sniff out new eateries that have been open for mere seconds. We hope Gold stays in LA forever, without him we'd be lost.
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
