Pasadena Middle School Teacher Accused of Sexually Assaulting 14-Year-Old Student

Thirty-four-year-old Michael Medina, a Pasadena middle-school history teacher suspected of molesting a 14-year-old female student, was arrested on Thursday on the campus of McKinley School on South Oak Knoll Avenue, according to police.

Police booked Median for multiple lewd and lascivious acts with a minor. In addition, Pasadena Police detectives found evidence of child pornography, along with additional proof that he had sexually assaulted the child.

According to a statement by police Lieutenant Keith Gomez, detectives conducted interviews, investigated digital evidence, and served search warrants at two locations.

Medina has been released on bond, while Pasadena Police are encouraging anyone with additional information to contact them at 626-744-4242 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
