JAVIER RAMIREZ X SIDE STREET PROJECTS PRINTABLE WOODWORKING BUS

PRINTUROWN

Pasadena based artist-run non profit SIDE STREET PROJECTS has released a pocket sized version of their woodworking bus (often spotted on LA's FWYs). The mini woodworking bus was cartoonishly drafted by SFV painter Javier Ramirez who we kicked it with back in August. The Side Street Project's woodworking buses bring artist-taught woodworking classes to all the 3rd graders in Pasadena Unified School District and schools across LA county. Kids can take woodworking classes at their Pasadena headquarters and the bus has been known to crash bday parties. They've also got a constant rotation of artist projects,  an equipment coop and a range of other artist services to get involved with.
