I took this picture of a Brooklyn wall from the F Train. I spent about two months working in Windows on the World, the restaurant at the top of the World Trade Center. I had a beautiful office overlooking the entire island of Manhattan, flanked by Jersey, Brooklyn, and Queens. There were a lot of nice people who worked there and who got into work much earlier than I did. Watching the twin towers turn to dust was a huge influence on my moving back home to the West Coast a few years later.
