For 20 years now, Recinos has been documenting the urban landscape, street culture, and Hispanic communities of Los Angeles utilizing his daily routine and the city of Los Angeles as an inspiration. I&#8217;m so far out that they call me Mars.
I&#8217;m just a hard working kid from Santa Ana looking to express myself through film. I love creating characters and telling their stories. I think happiness is a sad song. Yeah, I can be a bit emo at times. I hate High Fructose Corn Syrup; it&#8217;s bad for you. I can get political, and I&#8217;m very passionate on my convictions. I need to travel a few times a year to keep my head cool, and I don&#8217;t look back much as a rule.
