Erwin Recinos is a seasoned visual artist with an eye for capturing life as a working commuter aboard public transportation in and around Los Angeles. For 20 years now, Recinos has been documenting the urban landscape, street culture, and Hispanic communities of Los Angeles utilizing his daily routine and the city of Los Angeles as an inspiration. Recinos also works with popular food and event websites such as LATACO.com and Eater LA to capture the cuisine and culture that is so important to the city of Los Angeles and across Southern California.

Whether it’s your favorite restaurant, park or street, we all notice and experience the world around us based on where we live. I live in L.A. and can’t stop noticing sharp contradictions of this huge metropolitan area, with its glitz and glamour and almost forgotten, but yet vibrant amazing neighborhoods.
This is L.A. through my eyes.

DNA ~ Silverlake

My name is Shawn Khaine and I’m a struggling artist surviving day to day on the streets and hotels of Los Angeles. Painting and writing has been my life for the past fifteen years and I paint anything I can find from canvas to concrete, abandoned furniture, and old whiskey bottles. With my monstrous blue van Zombie and the magnificent SPAZ I’ve traveled across the states collecting pics of street art anywhere I can find it.
Outsider Industries is my machine where we make ends meet. We work on custom logos, album art, book and magazine art, interior and exterior wall pieces, tattoos, bar mitzvahs, fliers, and posters.
Eventually we want to use Outsider Industries to help promote unknown artists and also host galleries for independent and unknown artists in the United States and eventually gather artists from Mexico, and South America for galleries in the US.
